Center for Wilderness Safety has been successfully running in-person courses again on a semi-regular basis since mid-June 2021. To date, we have not experienced any notable misadventures related to COVID-19. With colder weather approaching in the Northern Hemisphere and dramatic uptick in COVID-19 cases, we want to again encourage mindfulness especially if you have signed up for an upcoming course. Additionally, Center for Wilderness Safety now offers blended learning opportunities with our NEW Hybrid/Online Certification Programs. These programs are taught half online, and are followed up with the other half being in-person. CWS provides courses through hosting sponsors as well as licensed training companies, which are independent companies, owned by some excellent CWS certified instructors, licensed to teach CWS curriculum. For your convenience, our schedule lists all available upcoming courses.
