Epipen + Asthma Inhaler Training
This training course will teach you the signs and symptoms of both a severe allergic reaction, as well as an asthma attack. Students will learn the signs of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction, including how to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device such as an EpiPen. They will also learn to recognize the signs of a severe asthma attack, and how to assist with the administration of a metered dose asthma inhaler. This hands-on course includes activities as well as skills practice that reinforce key information.

General Course Information

Course Length: 1–2 hours
 
Course Format: This course is taught either in-person (a 2-hour block) or can also be offered online.
 
Course Tuition: $25 per person
 
Certification: EpiPen + Asthma Inhaler Training  (does not expire)
 
Prerequisites: Participants should be at least 11 years of age.
