Sean D. Keener Memorial Scholarship
Since its inception, the mission of Center for Wilderness Safety has been to provide individuals and communities opportunities to gain response skills necessary for emergencies. To make our courses accessible to more people, CWS offers several scholarships each year. Scholarships are available for all courses listed on our schedule. These scholarships have been made possible by donations from amazing alumni and friends of CWS, in the name of our former program director Sean Keener, who passed away unexpectedly in 2010. A former Marine, Sean was extremely passionate about both wilderness medicine and teaching others to save lives, making the world a better place to live in.
We will confirm receipt of your application along with a timeline for response. We work to make all award offers within 30 days of the receipt of an application.
