Standard First AidThis course teaches participants how to provide care for injuries at home, work, school, or around the neighborhood; until advanced medical personnel arrive on scene and take over. The course also strives to give participants the knowledge and confidence needed to overcome any reluctance had to act in an emergency.

Led by knowledgeable instructors, our first aid training courses combine lecture with hands-on skills sessions. Perfect for those who learn best by doing (and not "death-by-PowerPoint"), our in-person classes give you ample time to ask questions and become comfortable with the latest techniques.

Students will learn to care for life-threatening injuries & illnesses such as:

   Burns   Spinal Injuries   Seizures
  Bleeding   Heat Illnesses   Stroke
  Shock   Cold Injuries   Diabetic emergencies
Orthopedic Injuries   Bites & Stings   Poisoning
  Head Injuries   Sudden Illness

This course is required for many Girl Scout and Boy Scout activities,
